The Empty Space Players is a group of students and community actors who produce four major productions annually, including one production of a play by William Shakespeare. Auditions and participation in productions is open to all students.

Lambda Pi Eta is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association (NCA). LPH represents what Aristotle described in his book, Rhetoric, as the three ingredients of persuasion: Logos (Lambda) meaning logic, Pathos (Pi) relating to emotion, and Ethos (Eta) defined as character credibility and ethics.

À La Mode is the name of the French Club at LSUA. Any student interested in French language and in the culture of the French speaking world is eligible for membership. The objective of the organization is to serve as an extracurricular resource for students learning French so that they can practice, apply, and maintain their language skills beyond the classroom. Club members also organize and participate in various events that enrich the academic and cultural life on campus.
